Responsibilities
- Perform daily reconciliation of bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Manage and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions for the weekend period.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including trial balances and variance analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Maintain strict adherence to internal controls, GAAP, and company policies.
- Collaborate with the week-day finance team to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely data flow.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred but not required).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during weekend shifts.
