Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile daily financial transactions and bank accounts during weekend shifts.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Process and verify payroll entries to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures with a focus on weekend deliverables.
- Review and audit invoices, receipts, and expense reports for internal controls.
- Collaborate with the finance team to implement process improvements and reporting strategies.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records in compliance with GAAP.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and auditing principles.
- Ability to work flexible weekend hours (Saturday and/or Sunday) as required.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
