Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP/IFRS standards.
- Month-End Close: Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all journal entries and reconciliations are completed on schedule.
- Account Reconciliation: Perform detailed reconciliation of general ledger accounts, including bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany accounts.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, operating forecasts, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Audit Support: Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation and explanations during annual audits and tax filings.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of US tax regulations, internal controls, and financial compliance requirements.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in data analysis.
