Responsibilities
- Manage Full-Cycle Bookkeeping: Oversee all aspects of the accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, manage vendor relationships, and ensure timely collections of payments.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Payroll Support: Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll data.
- Bank Relations: Reconcile bank statements and manage bank accounts effectively.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) is required.
- Education: Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; High school diploma with equivalent experience is acceptable.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct errors quickly.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members and clients.
- Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
