In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of our financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with month-end close processes. This is an immediate hire opportunity for a proactive professional.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing process in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform bank reconciliations and expense audits to ensure data integrity.
- Support the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Maintain accurate filing systems for financial documentation and contracts.
- Collaborate with management to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (required).
- 2+ years of progressive experience in general accounting (preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions required).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (optional for remote tasks).
