Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Process payroll and manage employee time-off requests accurately.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Maintain accurate filing systems for all financial documents and invoices.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and clients regarding billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax compliance principles.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
