Responsibilities
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance for multiple accounts.
- Process and post accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Prepare and review financial reports, including trial balances and income statements.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and federal accounting regulations.
- Reconcile credit card statements and expense reports.
- Provide support to the full-time accounting team during the week.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2+ years of professional accounting experience (including weekend availability).
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
