Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, focusing on weekend transactions and financial close processes.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices with high accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze weekly financial reports, variance analysis, and balance sheets.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly tax filings and regulatory reporting.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company financial policies.
- Collaborate with the finance team to resolve discrepancies and optimize workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in general accounting or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- CPA certification or equivalent professional experience is highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts and meet tight deadlines.
