Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely monthly close processes.
- Prepare complex financial statements and reports for internal management and external auditors.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual tax returns and compliance filings.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide detailed explanations for financial discrepancies.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable operations to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize budgeting and forecasting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial regulations, and auditing standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
