Responsibilities
- Execute end-of-week financial close procedures, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to the general ledger.
- Prepare and review monthly financial reports and variance analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Maintain accurate records of fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal control policies.
- Collaborate with the finance team to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably with a background in weekend shift operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines during weekend shifts.
