Responsibilities
- Perform daily financial reconciliation and account analysis to ensure data accuracy.
- Process weekly payroll and reconcile bank statements for weekend operations.
- Prepare and review financial reports, ledgers, and trial balances.
- Maintain and organize physical and electronic financial documentation.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures as needed.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Communicate financial discrepancies to the management team promptly.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Strong proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during weekend hours.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional on-site meetings.
