Responsibilities
- Perform monthly and weekly account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Process payroll and expense reports for the weekend workforce.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and trial balances.
- Review and classify journal entries with high precision.
- Support the internal audit process by providing necessary documentation.
- Maintain and update fixed asset registers.
- Assist colleagues with ad-hoc financial analysis during off-hours.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a weekend shift capacity.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver's license (optional).
