In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring our financial integrity during our peak processing weekends. You will work closely with our senior accounting team to manage day-to-day financial operations, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records. Responsibilities
- Financial Reconciliation: Perform daily reconciliation of bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements for the weekend period.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, verify vendor statements, and manage cash receipts and payments.
- Payroll Processing: Assist in the preparation and review of weekly or bi-weekly payroll calculations.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial transactions comply with company policies and relevant accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
- Documentation: Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents and tax records.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance; experience with weekend shift accounting is highly preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (typically Friday to Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
