Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements, variance analyses, and budget reports in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform detailed reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, enforcing internal controls and approval workflows.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Conduct internal audits and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- CPA certification or CMA designation is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
