Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and expense audits.
- Prepare and file federal and state tax returns accurately and on time.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain and update accounting records in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Collaborate with the remote team to optimize financial processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of US tax laws and financial regulations.
- Self-motivated individual capable of working independently in a remote setting.
