We are looking for a candidate who excels in accuracy and efficiency to join our growing finance department.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts monthly.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and perform variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal and financial requirements.
- Conduct internal audits and assist external auditors during the annual review process.
- Review and approve journal entries and financial reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is essential.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional certification preferred.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with cross-functional teams.
