Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to handle the night shift accounting operations, including month-end close, financial reporting, and reconciliations. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial records and ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform month-end and year-end close procedures with high accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Assist with external audits and internal controls.
- Maintain accurate filing systems for financial documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
