Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare basic financial reports and assist in the month-end close process.
- Process and verify invoices, ensuring they are coded correctly and approved.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
- Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of tax schedules and other regulatory filings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing graduation).
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a preference for experience in Excel.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
