- Oversee daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation documentation.
- Ensure strict compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and assist with annual audits.
- Process expense reports and maintain organized filing systems.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a part-time or freelance capacity.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
