As a Weekend Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our financial records are accurate and up-to-date. You will work closely with our finance department to manage month-end close processes and prepare essential financial reports with precision.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and credit card audits.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and variance reports.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely processing.
- Assist in the preparation of payroll for weekend shifts.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal controls and GAAP standards.
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with the team to identify process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional accounting experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or similar accounting software.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Must be detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skills.
