Responsibilities
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and post general ledger entries accurately.
- Prepare and review journal entries for the weekend period.
- Assist in the processing and verification of weekly payroll.
- Generate and analyze financial reports and variance analysis.
- Support the month-end closure process by reconciling sub-ledger accounts.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- ACCA, CIMA, or ACA qualified (part-qualified candidates with strong experience will be considered).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday).
