Responsibilities
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy and detect discrepancies.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with strict adherence to deadlines.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports.
- Perform general ledger entries and maintain accurate financial documentation.
- Assist auditors during the year-end audit process with weekend availability.
- Review and verify invoices for compliance with company policies and GAAP standards.
- Update and maintain financial databases and spreadsheets using advanced Excel functions.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekend shifts.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
