Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile high-volume payroll transactions for weekend staff.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and variance analysis.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable for weekend operations.
- Conduct internal audits on weekend transactions to ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and quarterly reports.
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with the week-day finance team to ensure seamless transition of data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Master’s degree preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines during weekends.
