Responsibilities
- Perform daily and monthly financial reconciliation of accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and posted.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of quarterly and annual tax reports in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Maintain accurate and organized general ledger records, including journal entries and adjustments.
- Conduct internal audits and compliance checks to identify discrepancies and mitigate financial risk.
- Assist the finance team with special projects and month-end close procedures.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Must be available to work on weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday) for the duration of the employment term.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
