Responsibilities
- Lead month-end closing processes and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Manage complex reconciliations across multi-currency accounts
- Prepare statutory accounts and tax compliance documentation
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting for 5+ business units
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (Sage/Xero)
- Mentor junior accountants and coordinate external audits
- Analyze financial trends and provide strategic insights to leadership
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent accounting certification
- 5+ years of post-qualification experience in practice or industry
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Proven experience with UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
