Role Overview
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the accurate recording of financial transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing critical insights to support business decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts to ensure data accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of audits and financial reviews.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize budgeting and forecasting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- CPA certification or active pursuit thereof is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
