Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closing, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and regulatory accuracy
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and implement process improvements
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for departmental KPIs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial reporting and strategic initiatives
- Ensure internal controls are maintained and SOX compliance requirements are met
- Support external audits and tax preparation processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage complex financial reporting cycles
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience with multinational financial operations (a plus)
