Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for executive leadership and stakeholders
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Lead compliance initiatives including tax filings and audits
- Develop financial models and forecasting reports to support strategic decisions
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with GAAP and financial compliance regulations
