Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the general ledger and financial statements.
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with a high degree of accuracy.
- Support the month-end and year-end close procedures, including accruals and adjusting entries.
- Perform routine audits of financial data to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.
- Prepare and analyze supporting schedules and reports for management review.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Assist with tax filings and inter-company account reconciliations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience or internship experience in accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
