- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for executive review
- Manage payroll processing and tax compliance across multiple states
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures with precision
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks accounting systems for client portfolios
- Collaborate with tax preparers on quarterly filings and annual audits
- Develop financial reports to support strategic business decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent professional certification (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in a multi-client environment
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP and IRS tax regulations
