Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for diverse client portfolios including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis with executive-level summaries
- Oversee sales tax filings and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Implement and optimize accounting systems including QuickBooks Online and Xero integrations
- Lead month-end closing procedures and support annual audits
- Develop customized financial reporting dashboards for client decision-making
- Train junior staff on accounting best practices and software proficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced certification (CPA, CB, or similar) preferred
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Excel (VBA/macros)
- Demonstrated experience with multi-entity accounting systems
- Proven ability to manage high-volume transaction processing
