Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing cycles including invoice generation, payment processing, and reconciliation
- Resolve billing discrepancies and patient/provider inquiries with exceptional customer service
- Analyze account aging reports and implement collection strategies
- Collaborate with insurance verification teams to ensure accurate coding and documentation
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and healthcare billing regulations
- Utilize Epic EMR and billing software for daily operations
- Generate monthly billing reports for financial analysis
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical or corporate billing experience required
- Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) or equivalent preferred
- Expertise in CPT/ICD-10 coding and claim submission processes
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and billing software (Epic experience a plus)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments
- Knowledge of AR management and denial resolution techniques
