Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll bi-weekly with 100% accuracy
- Manage tax filings, wage garnishments, and deductions
- Conduct payroll audits and reconcile discrepancies
- Administer benefits enrollment and deductions
- Respond to payroll inquiries within 24 hours
- Implement payroll process improvements
- Stay updated on FLSA and state labor laws
- Collaborate with HR on timekeeping systems
Qualifications
- 3+ years payroll processing experience
- ADP or Ceridian system proficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance preferred
- Multi-state payroll tax compliance expertise
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP/SUMIF
- PHR or CPP certification a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential data discreetly
