Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual and business federal and state income tax returns.
- Communicate with clients to collect necessary financial documents and clarify tax-related questions.
- Utilize tax preparation software (e.g., ProSeries, Lacerte) to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.
- Meet monthly and quarterly performance targets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in tax preparation or accounting is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of individual and small business tax codes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and tax software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines during tax season.
