Responsibilities
- Process daily customer transactions accurately, including cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Greet customers warmly and answer inquiries regarding accounts, products, and services.
- Identify and cross-sell banking products to meet individual customer needs.
- Maintain accurate daily cash drawers and balance the Teller Line at the end of each shift.
- Ensure compliance with all bank policies, regulations, and security procedures.
- Assist in opening new accounts and maintaining existing customer relationships.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; prior banking experience is a plus.
- Previous experience as a Teller or in a customer service role handling cash is preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Familiarity with Windows-based computer systems and banking software (e.g., FIS, Jack Henry).
