Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving account issues.
- Balance daily cash drawers and reconcile transactions with the banking system.
- Assist customers with opening new accounts and explaining bank products and services.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to enhance customer relationships.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work area.
- Adhere to all bank security policies and compliance regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
- Previous customer service or cash handling experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling money.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer proficiency and typing skills.
