- Process and submit insurance claims with 99.5% accuracy
- Resolve billing discrepancies and patient inquiries within 24 hours
- Conduct monthly audits of charge master and coding compliance
- Collaborate with clinical teams to document services accurately
- Generate revenue cycle reports for leadership review
- Stay updated on HIPAA and CMS billing regulations
- Train staff on billing processes and software updates
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience required
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) certification preferred
- Expertise in Epic, Medisoft, or similar EHR systems
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot table mastery
- Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to meet strict monthly billing deadlines
