Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and authorization before payment.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or billing errors efficiently.
- Manage the full accounts payable cycle, ensuring all bills are paid on time.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor master files and contact information.
- Prepare weekly and monthly AP aging reports for management review.
- Assist in the month-end close process by reconciling AP sub-ledgers.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding invoice status and payment inquiries.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in Accounts Payable or General Accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect errors and resolve them.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
- Must be able to work independently in a fully remote environment.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
