Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all entries are accurate and timely.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and company policies.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts for management review.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to resolve discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the tax team to prepare quarterly and annual tax filings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- 1-3 years of professional accounting experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and MS Excel is essential.
- Candidates with a CPA certification will be given priority consideration.
- Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
