Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and general ledgers on a daily basis.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with high precision.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, variance analyses, and budgets.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and compliance documentation.
- Ensure strict adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and company policies.
- Collaborate with management to identify financial trends and cost-saving opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of progressive accounting experience preferred.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
