Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Manage general ledger entries and perform complex account reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns and filings.
- Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
- Review invoices for accuracy and approve payments within established parameters.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
