Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close procedures
- Prepare accurate financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements for internal stakeholders and regulatory compliance
- Conduct bank reconciliations, expense analysis, and variance reporting to identify financial discrepancies
- Oversee payroll processing, tax filings, and ensure adherence to federal and state financial regulations
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks proficiency required)
- Collaborate with auditors during external reviews and provide necessary documentation
- Develop financial forecasts and assist in budget preparation for departmental planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with full-cycle responsibilities
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (advanced formulas), and accounting software
- Deep understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
- Exceptional analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities for stakeholder interactions
- Proven experience managing financial audits and regulatory reporting
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with strict deadlines
