Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close process to ensure timely reporting.
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements.
- Assist external auditors during the annual audit process and prepare supporting documentation.
- Streamline internal financial processes and improve reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- CPA certification or active candidate status is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
