Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and coordinate with external auditors for annual financial audits.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
- Provide financial analysis and budget forecasting support to senior management.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, tax laws, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
