Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and general ledger accounts.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions on a monthly basis.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and audits.
- Prepare and file state and federal tax returns, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) to manage financial data.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial controls and reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 2-4 years of progressive accounting experience preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (pivot tables, vlookups).
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or NetSuite.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
