Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close procedures
- Prepare accurate financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements for stakeholder review
- Conduct thorough reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and subsidiary ledgers
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal financial policies
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvement
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews and assist with tax preparation documentation
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting setting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (Sage 100 experience a plus)
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
