- Compliance & Audit: Ensure all financial practices adhere to GAAP and internal control policies; prepare for external audits.
- Process Optimization: Implement automated solutions to streamline financial workflows and improve efficiency.
- Strategic Analysis: Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to senior management regarding budget forecasts.
- Regulatory Adherence: Stay updated on local and federal tax regulations relevant to our operations in Florida and beyond.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or QuickBooks).
