Responsibilities
- Manage Daily Transactions: Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices accurately and on time.
- Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare weekly financial reports and assist with the month-end close process.
- Payroll Processing: Calculate and process payroll for the weekend workforce, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
- General Ledger: Maintain and update the general ledger with precision.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial records adhere to internal controls and company policies.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in data entry and financial analysis.
- Schedule: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Education: Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; High school diploma required.
- Communication: Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
