Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations to identify discrepancies.
- Assist in the budgeting process and provide variance analysis to management.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.
- Prepare and file corporate tax returns and support external audits.
- Utilize advanced Excel functions to analyze financial data and create forecasting models.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA or CMA certification preferred).
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for occasional office visits).
