Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounts payable and receivable operations to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and reconciliation reports.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Manage general ledger entries and perform variance analysis on budget vs. actuals.
- Conduct internal audits and recommend process improvements for efficiency.
- Collaborate with the finance team to assist in forecasting and budget planning.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions on a weekly basis.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders clearly.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
